Step 1. Selecting A Product To Promote As An affiliate
Affiliate marketing is a business model which can make you thousands of dollars if done right. As a matter of fact, if you get good at it, you may go full time like I did after I graduated from college. What this involves is promoting goods or services for a merchant and get paid a commission whenever you make a sale.
We are going to start by promoting products from ClickBank.com. ClickBank is an online retailer of thousands of digital products in all different kinds of niches.
Go to ClickBank.com/marketplace.html and browse the products they have until you find one that you want to promote. Make sure that such a product has a minimum gravity of 20 which means that more than 20 persons have promoted the product and make a sale in the last 30 days. Also make sure that the product pays a minimum of 20 per sale and has a convincing sale letter or video.
Step 2. Preselling The Product
This is how you will convince your prospects to buy. What you want to do here is to review to the product and outline the benefits of owning the product. Basically you want your prospects to be confident that when they make their purchase they would have made the right decision. Therefore it is of utmost importance that the product is of high quality and does fulfill on whatever promise or claim is on the sales page.
Step 3. Driving Targeted Traffic
Your ability to drive traffic will determine how successful you are. The more targeted traffic you can get to your offer, the more money you'll make. Since you are in college and you wont have a lot of time on your hands to focus on your online business, you need it to be automated as possible. So the best thing to do would be to pay for traffic.
