How to Write An Email Campaign For Your Coaching Program
If you are selling coaching, one of the most important things is to connect with prospects via email. I see so many folks trying to sell coaching directly through this forum, and their conversion rates are lower than they could be if they simply took those prospects, put them in an email campaign that allowed them to build trust and rapport, then sell them coaching.
You see, selling coaching is not like selling an info product. If someone buys a $97 info-product, they are asking this question: am I going to learn what I need to, and is it worth $97 to learn that information?
But with coaching, they are asking a different question: is the PERSON from whom I am buying coaching the right person to DIRECT me to my goals?
And that is not easy to quantify in dollars or on a sales page.
Instead, with coaching, relationship is key.
And that’s where the emails come in.
Here’s how I recommend writing your email campaign:
Make a list of the different kinds of emails you might write:
content emails
credibility emails
engagement emails
homework emails
question emails
survey emails
selling emails
and so on
Then determine how many of each you want to write, for example:
4- content emails
4 - credibility emails
4 - engagement emails
4 - homework emails
2- question emails
2 - survey emails
6 - selling emails
Then create an order for those emails. Then sit down and write out your email campaign - in one sitting if possible - in one document. The advantage to using one document is that you can see at a glance exactly what is in all the emails, without opening your AR or text files. And if you want to slide in a new email in the middle of the sequence somewhere, it’s easy to visualize.
