Looking for the top Wordpress Plugins that are also free? In my opinion these are the top free Wordpress plugins that I use time and time again. You can find all of these just by searching within the Wordpress plugin database and install them directly onto your site.

All In One SEO
A must for easy SEO Wordpress formatting. What I like about this plugin is that it'll actually allow you to add SEO descriptions and keywords to each post. Here's how to setup, after installing click on the admin page (it'll alert you at top of your Wordpress dashboard). Setup your Title and description as you want Google to read in searches. Also be sure to setup at least 4 or 5 keywords for your site. Don't think you should just put one single keyword here, here's your chance to potentially rank for a few keywords you didn't think of. Also, at the end of each post scroll down to bottom of your screen and be sure to fill out the Title, Description and keywords for each post. It's free, and it works. Simple as that.

Contact Form 7
Every Wordpress site should have a Contact Us page. It's not only easy to do but Google loves them. Google loves pages on your site, and this plugin will automatically create you one easily. How's how to setup. Install the plugin then click on the settings page. It'll give you a code to copy (copy everything including brackets). Create a Contact Us page and simply paste that code on the page. You can also write something above the code such as "Got a question or comment? Use the form below to send us an email". It'll send an email to the address on the settings on your Wordpress page. This is a must.

Google XML Sitemaps
For Pete's sake, create a sitemap for your website. No, it's not a must to be included on a search engine but I feel like anything that makes the search engines understand and map out your sites easier on them, the quicker they will include your site in their rankings. The cool thing about this plugin is it'll automatically detect when you change something on the site and update the sitemap. It also never hurts to rebuild the sitemap manually, just click on the plugin settings page and click on the rebuild link. Once you get your sitemap now what? Leads us to our next top Wordpress Plugin.

All In One Webmaster
This plugin will add the required code to verify your site on Google Webmaster Tools, Yahoo Site Explorer, or Bing Webmaster Central. Again, anything that makes it easier on them I'm all for as the sites just seem to get ranked much faster than allowing them to "naturally" find and explore the sites. If you haven't used Google Webmaster Tools, sign up! It's Free, and it's an easy way to make sure they are looking at your sitemap correctly and see if there are any issues or errors on your site.

Google Analyticator
Ever used Google Analytics? If not you should be! It's another FREE tool. You can find all sort of stats on your site traffic, like what keyword they are using to access your site and what countries they are coming from. To verify your site download this plugin which all you have to do is add the site code that Google Analytics gives you after you set up your site. Easy + free = this plugin.

So there you have it, five free top Wordpress plugins that should be a part of everyone's site.
