The Case for a Coaching Program

The case for a coaching program. I know, I know. I keep
trying to talk you into starting a coaching program if you don't
have one.

And maybe you think you aren't ready or don't know enough, etc.
The truth is: if you don't know enough about your topic to coach
people who need help in your niche, you don't know enough about
your niche to even write an ebook, so you don't belong in your niche
as an information marketer.

I think one of the problems in the info-marketing business is that
folks are so focused on building a business that they miss the part
about teaching others. The focus in your business should be teaching
others what they need to know in your niche and if you do
that, you'll make money. And if you don't know enough to teach, your
NEXT step should be to get training, not to learn more about marketing.

The thing is, a coaching program is more effective for your clients
than selling them another ebook or mp3.

And there is no difference in the content in an ebook versus the
content in a coaching program.

In fact, the coaching program content can BE your book.

The thing that makes coaching unique is that folks are able to
contact you and talk with you, asking questions and getting help.

That's what having a real information business looks like.

It's not just "selling stuff"
