Not every prospect that comes across your ad will buy right away. This is because all prospects goes through phases before they decide to buy your product. You want to be aware of these phases so that you can offer your prospect exactly what they're looking for at just the right time.

Your prospects aren't looking for the same things during each stage that they go through. They are looking for certain things to fulfill their changing wants and needs - and you need to be aware of them. In this article, we will take a look at the certain phases that a prospect goes through, and how you can be prepared to offer them a certain solution during a given period of time.

Let's take a look at the first marketing phase that your prospect goes through.

Phase 1) Find an answer to my problem

At this initial phase, your prospect is looking for a solution to the problem that they have. They don't know who you are and aren't looking for any particular person yet as they don't know the options available to them. They're just looking for someone or something that they can use to solve their problem.

Your prospects are very open during this phase and are very receptive to the different options available to them. They will ask around and respond to a variety of ads just to see if someone has what they're looking for - so they aren't particularly interested in you yet. At this point, you want to do your best to be there when they're looking for an answer and get them while they're hot.

One of the best things that you can do at this phase is to capture their contact information. You should gather their name and address so that you can continue to follow up on them. When you do this, once they make their decision to buy something, you'll be first in their mind as a good solution because you repeatedly followed up on them. Let's take a look at the next phase.

Phase 2) Choose the best person for the job

Now that your prospect has a good idea of what they're looking for, it's time for them to choose the best person or company for the job. If you're been successfully following up on them as I suggest, then this is where your hard work will pay off.

If you did a good job of following up on them with more information about their problem and how your can solve it for you, then more than likely they will pick you as the best choice. You see your prospects don't want to make a bad decision about their purchase, so it's best to follow up on and build a relationship so that they can feel confident about their purchase. Let's take a look at phase number 3.

Phase 3) Make sure I made the right decision

At this point, your prospect wants to be sure that they made the best decision, and they will re-check everything to make sure the decision was best for them. One of the best ways to help make your prospect feel like they made the best decision is with a money back guarantee. With a guarantee, your prospects can lay rest assured that they can return your product if they aren't satisfied whatsoever.

All 3 of these phases need to be considered before you start marketing your products and services. Good luck with selling your product and getting people to buy from you.
