What are Differnce between internet marketing and network marketing?
What are the Similarities between internet marketing and network marketing?
As a person who has made a living both in internet marketing and internet marketing, I'm often asked questions like those I listed above.
Especially how internet marketing and network marketing compare.
I dont really know if there is an official definitiion of internet marketing, but in my experience it's basically the practice of using the internet to promote one of more products or services. Those products or services could be your own, or they could be those of others, in which case you typically earn an affiliate commission.
Another form of internet marketing is getting web site traffic to view web pages, and getting commission from sites like Google, for those page views, or advertisement clicks.
If the case of affiliate comissions, usually the affiliate signs up directly with the product creator.
Network marketing, in a nutshell is another form of affiliate marketing, however instead of sighing up directly with the product creator, you can sign up through another affiliate. usually the number of levels can go quite deep in network marketing.
Many network marketing programs pay small commission to to multiple levels of affiliates, hence the term multi-level marketing.
Recently however, especially with networks that promote digital products these layers have been eliminated and 100% commission less some services charges goes to one person.
This has proven to be very effective, and hase becomemuch more popular in the last few years.
Both network marketing and affiliate marketing can be very lucrative, and profitable. Each one also has a high failure rate.
In my experience the key is focus, action, and sticking with it long enough to succeed.
