Do you consider yourself to be a gullible person? Many people online are, and are totally unaware of the true facts that needs to be learned to have a successful business. You will hear alot of claims about how you can make thousands by the end of this month, but unless you have an advertising budget of at least $100,000 and a relatively high priced product… it simply won’t happen.
There are alot of so-called “gurus” online who will try to tell and sell you anything just to get the money that’s in your pockets. Don’t be fooled by these people. While it is a fact that these gurus are indeed making lots of money in their business… the material that they will sell to you for around $30 won’t contain the information necessary to build a successful online business.
If you spend $1,000 on one of their products, then will they start to reveal the things that they are doing to make alot of money in their business. Don’t believe the hype; don’t believe the myths; and don’t believe any claims that state that you will make thousands by the end of the month. This is part of the reasons why 95% of all new online businesses will fail this year… unrealistic expectations.
It’s easy to get lured into the incredible lifestyle that you could be making with a great successful online business, but you have to learn how to take things slow, and truly learn “real” marketing. Anybody can get traffic to their website via advertising. But what about when the funds are gone? How will you get traffic to your site?
What you have to understand is that to build a successful online business, it won’t happen overnight. If you take a look at all of the people running infomercials on TV, they don’t break even until after 2 years of running their TV ads. It costs alot to advertise on TV, and the $20 to $30 products that they are selling aren’t making them money right away.
They usually make their money by selling $3,000 courses or coaching programs, that will allow them to have big paydays everyday – which will dramatically slash their cost of advertising. The same applies to internet marketing. You will see people saying that they make $90,000 a month with pay per click advertising. But when you look at their stats, they’re only profiting about half of that. So you can’t get caught up in the hoopla.
I advise you to learn how to market your website in the best way as possible. Paid advertising is fine, and one of my favorite forms of paid advertising is pay per click advertising. It’s okay to test this immediately in your business to see if the niche is responsive, and if it is… you should monitor your costs and profits, and also launch an aggressive free marketing campaign that will lower your costs, and also help you to profit more.
