An Aspect Of Your Business That Contains 80% Of Your Profits

Guess what? There’s an aspect of your business that holds most of the profits that you could possibly make in your business. What aspect am I talking about? I’m talking about “backend marketing”. Backend marketing is simply the process of selling to your current and existing customers. And it’s where 80% of your total sales will come from.

You should strive to make your backend business the most important part of your internet business. These are people who know you, like you, and already know what to expect from you and your products. So don’t neglect them. The more you focus on these groups of people, the more money you will make. Consider this…

I used to work as an IT Specialist for this major corporation a few years ago. My main goal was to provide computer support for the indoor clients and the sales reps who were on the road trying to get sales for the company. Well, 90% of their activities was going to sell more products to their existing customers… NOT new customers.

Now sure… to get backend sales, you have to first get frontend customers. I understand that. All I’m saying is that once you do get your backend customers, don’t focus most of your time of getting new ones. It’s quite possible to build and sustain a million dollar business online just by marketing to your backend customers.

People are doing it all the time, and you can do the same also. It’s easy, fast, efficient, and it definitely works. This is something that you will want to consider doing in your online business right away. I know of one guy who’s frontend business was shutdown, but he was still making $20,000 a month from his backend customers. He had a paid newsletter, and was making alot of money from his monthly catalog also.

The point I’m trying to make is that your customers want to have a relationship with them. They want to stay on top of things in the industry and want to have you help them with their problems and goals. So a one time sale just won’t accomplish this. You have to stay on top of them, and continue to market your business in the best way as possible.

They don’t want a “one night stand”. And actually… if your products are good, guess what? They’ll want to purchase more! Nothing is better than an eager customer who wants to buy more of your products. These are the best kind of customers to have, but it’s your job to market to them and stay in contact with them to build the relationship that they are looking for.

Also… if you do alot of paid advertising, how will you recoup that investment? Imagine losing money on each new customer that you get. How will you make up that deficit? The obvious answer is to sell to the group of customers that you just got. Once you’ve recovered your deficit, you’re now in the profit zone.

Marketing to your backend customers is something that you absolutely need to do if you want to have the successful business that you strive for. It’s very easy to make money online, but you have to be smart about it. Be smart, and you’ll have the best chance of success as possible.

Good luck with marketing to your backend customers today.
