2 Reasons You Should Be A Fan Of Blogging

Are you a fan of blogging? This is a revolutionary tool that allows you to stay in contact with your fans and colleagues, and build a large following for sharing ideas and information. There are 2 main players in the blogging word. They are: Blogger, and Wordpress. Both are exceptionally good blog providers, and you may have success either one of them.

Some people feel that Wordpress is better because of the ease and automation of it all, but my personal favorite is Blogger. Blogger is for the newbie at heart. But never mind the technicalities of these sites… let’s look at the effectiveness that having a blog can do for you. Here’s the first reason you should start a blog today:

1) Good search engine rankings

For some reason in my opinion, it seems like blogs rank better than websites from scratch. The more content you post to your blog over a series of years, the more relevant they will be years from now, and the more organic and free traffic that they will get from the major search engines. Some people may disagree with me on this one, but I’ve found this to be true.

Blogging is easy, and it doesn’t require alot of “HTML” maintenance like a website. If you wanted to upload a new article to your site, you would have to download a website builder, open the website builder software, create a brand new page, put the content on the page, and then hit the “publish” button to upload to your website.

With a blog, everything is easy. All of the HTML work is done for you. And alot of blogs already have fancy and awesome looking templates that you can post on. All you have to do is sign in to your blog, insert your content, ping the blog services, and you will be good to go. Here’s another reason why you should do blogging:

2) You can sell effectively on blogs

On most blog providers, they have an email autoresponder already integrated into the blog. So you don’t have to go down to an autoresponder website and use their services. However… the feature on most blogs only tell your subscribers when you’ve made a new post. They’re not capable of putting together a “sales” email - so they are 1 dimensional. So in this sense, maybe an email autoresponder from a different site is necessary.

No matter how you notify your subscribers, you have to push them in the right direction to get them to buy something that you own or are an affiliate for. And selling these items aren’t hard at all. You could easily setup a pre-sell page, entice people to opt-in to your “off-blog” email newsletter, or simply write a good blog post, and insert a link to the product or service that you want to offer.

Blogging is a very good way to make money online, and you should know that it’s incredibly easy to make work for you. The more you stick with blogging, the more money you will make in the long run.

Good luck with using blogging in your online business.
