Getting Sales With Your Ebook Now

Did you know that making sales with your ebook is quite easy? It’s true. It doesn’t take much effort to sell an ebook - especially one for $7. I personally don’t recommend selling ebooks for $7 because it will take you a long time to start earning some serious money. So I suggest people to start their product at the bare minimum of $19.

When you do the math on this, the $19 sale looks more attractive. It would take you 15 $7 sales to make $100 in a month. It would take you roughly 4 sales at $19 to make you the same $100. Which one do you think is easier? I assure you… at prices like these, you will get the same kind of conversion rate when you test both. So you might as well stick with the $19 so that you can profit more.

Now to make your ebook sell, you will want to follow a very simple process. First you will want to find a good niche to sell in. If you already have a niche and you are making slow sales from it, then I’m confident that you can ramp the sales up within a short period of time. After you’ve found the niche, it’s time for the product.

Make sure your product contains answers to the problems that your prospects are having. If you don’t know what kind of problems or goals that they are having, camp out on a forum and read through the posts. You will see a recurring problem here. From this information, you can go own and create a very good ebook.

After you’ve created the ebook, it’s time to create the sales page for it. You can either do this yourself, or hire a copywriter to do it for you. Believe it or not, there are some copywriters who will charge you $5,000 (plus royalties) to write your sales letter, and there are other copywriters who will charge you $5 (without royalties) to write the sales letter for you.

I’ve seen some of the work by the $5 copywriters, and it is just plain BAD. If you want to create a good sales letter from scratch, start with something called a “swipe file”. A swipe file is simply a collection of winning ads and sales letters that you can use to emulate your sales letter off, to create a good work for yourself simply and easily.

Now you never want to copy an ad or sales letter in the swipe file. Instead, use them as a guide when writing the sales copy for your ebook. With all that done, along with the download page, it’s time to start marketing. You have a ton of options at your disposal, and you should know that free marketing works very well online.

One free marketing method that you will want to try out is video marketing. It’s simply the process of creating a video, and posting them onto the video sites like: Youtube, Metacafe, Viddler, and etc. And likewise, the more videos you make, the more traffic you will get.

Ebooks are easy to create and with a sound marketing plan, they can make you money in a short period of time. Be sure to get sales by working hard, and then continue to make sales from your existing customers - because this is where 80% of your total business profits will come from.

Good luck with selling your ebook online.
