I'm a newbie and a blogger looking to make money while not leaving the house. I just created a blog on wordpress, signed up for payperpost and ReviewMe so far. I figure the next step is generating traffic. I am unsure exactly how to do this though. If could help me with some pinpoint advice on how to get running and get some traffic without spending money It would be greatly appreciated. I know there is guides and whatnot, but I'm just looking for more direct tips....

There's a new law the legislature is to vote on, possibly as early as Tuesday, regarding internet retail tax. From what I gather from frantic e-mails from CJ, it could have an extreme negative effect on internet marketing. Anyone know anything about this? I notice NY is exempted from a lot of affiliate vendors so I wonder if this is the death knell of affiliate marketing in CA. Similar bills are up for vote in HI, N. Car. Conn., Maryland &Minn.
