Ok so this is my first post so I'm just a bit nervous but I after spending the week reading whatever opinions I came across regarding Google's changes, I have to add my two dollars worth (inflation, you know).

I admit that, as a writer, I freaked out a bit when I first heard about the changes because I wondered if this would affect the amount of articles IMers would be purchasing. But then I realized this is fantastic news for writers--especially those who know "there" from "their," "its" from "it's" and "you're from "your." But I digress. I'll save my peeves to rant about another day.

One of the most frustrating situations for quality writers is having to compete with the ubiquitous cheap and lousy ones. And marketers who just want to slap some content up with no regard for whether it is well written or even intelligible.

My dad used to have a sign up on the wall in his sign business that went something like this:

You can pick two out of three:

If you want it cheap and fast, it won't be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it won't be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it won't be cheap
.

Google's changes will only make things better for everyone, in my opinion. Hopefully, they will only serve to raise the quality level of content on the Internet.
