I have started social bookmarking and after that my site pushed back on keywords i was on top!!

this is bit strange as i have started social bookmarking 10 days back on my blog and found that it was pushed back on Google. Any insight as to how and what went wrong. Does social bookmarking push your positions backward temporarily or something is seriuosly wrong. Please help.
