I want to share just 2 simple email marketing tips, that will have a huge impact to your business. I see so many marketers do this wrong, and It can easily be improved!
These two simple tips are: building relationship, and over delivering.
I know it sounds simple and even boring, as so many people out there say that. But if all marketers would apply these in their email marketing strategy, they would see increase in their sales right away!
This is how it should be done.
Building relationship. When you want to make profits off your email list, you need to get those sales. Now, people do not like to buy things from people they do not know! Would you buy something from a person you don`t know? So in order to be known, you have to tell them about yourself. Simple as that. Tell them who you are, tell them why you want to help them out. If you have a story of yourself to tell, you can add it to a blog, and send your subscribers a message where you invite them to read the blog. People are interested in that - just make sure you do that in the beginning of your relationship. Add a picture of yourself if you can. Write about your passions, your beliefs in an order that would make them feel like you are just like them!
People need to know that you understand them. So if your niche is pregnant women, tell them your own story! The fears you faced when being pregnant, the questions you had, everything. This builds relationship, and trust!
Over delivering. Now, when you are in a good relationship with your subscribers, it is very important to give them more than they expect from you. Anything you send them with your emails, it has to be top quality. Those people have to feel like "WOW - he`s sharing this to me at no cost!".
Here is why it is SO important to over deliver.
