Focus: The Not-So-Secret Secret to Succeed in 2009 (Part Two)

In part one the focus I emphasized was on taking action. Duh, yes it goes without saying. Although, taking action is one thing that cannot be emphasized enough.
When speaking to prospects or clients in my offline consulting, in the very first conversation I have with them (which is not part of my Business Matrix Diagnosis process) one of the major things I am trying to get a sense of is 'how action-oriented is this business owner'.
I'm looking for genuine and authentically driven entrepreneurs who are truly desirous of increasing their profits and are willing to do the work necessary. That's exciting to me! To assist as the catalyst for this kind of a client because I can help them make such a massive difference to the bottom line!
The next main thing is -- and I'm torn today between talking to you about 'Trust' or 'delayed gratification.'
Alright -- on 'delayed gratification'. I just may be the only consultant who tells prospects 'Experience Your Own Profit Quantum Leap In 365 Days or Less!' And boy that just doesn't sound very sexy.
For me though I'm looking for the true warrior.
The warrior has no illusions about how long a campaign is going to take before generating results. The warrior knows that there has to be a plan then action and then readjust approach along the way.
In the 3,600 case studies and surveys of clients that have undergone this method, there are a variety of results. There are those who experienced great profit growth within weeks. And there are also those who experienced them over a year and some longer.
What's the variable? There are several and a few of the main ones are:
1. The length of time the business has been operating
2. The number of leads and prospects they have
3. The reach in terms of communicating the marketing message
4. The number of 'tactics' they have in place to generate business
The longer a business owner has been around, the more likelihood that a very quick boost in profits through implementation of these strategies can be realized. With startups or new businesses that have not been around or new entrepreneurs, it's quite likely that I'm going to help them put into place new campaigns with a focus on compounding the results from various strategically aligned tactics.
So, I'm also saying that things take time. However, if you are strategic about the way you are executing your profit campaign, you can accelerate results. Think strategic, not tactical and don't think that results come like a fast food restaurant.
The Business Matrix Diagnosis will tell you exactly how you can strategically position your business to generate more profits in the shorter term and in the longer term.
