Affiliate Marketing Dream and The Never Ending Tunnel of Hope.

Do you know how many people succeed as affiliates?
Just 4%. Shocking, isn't it. But this is so true, only 4% affiliates have an income above $500 per month.
The amount is more shocking than the percentage. $500 per month looks so small. Compared to the 4% able to make money online. The percentage would have been fine. But the amount makes it look dirty.
Anyone can break into cold sweat by this.
I broke into cold sweat when I heard this. It also sent shivers and chills down my spine. Because I had spent 5 years on this by then. And made zero dollars online.
I was just trying to become an affiliate marketer but I was not one.
I was having a 9 to 5 day job that I wanted to quit. With this news it looked impossible.
The truth is always painful. And we try to avoid pain by ignoring the truth. But at some point the truth comes and stands in front of us like a giant rock. We cannot do anything but face it.
This truth was bitting like the most severe cold winter that I might have seen. The coldest I had seen was in Chichago. But the chills were worse that that winter.
I thought, complaining like a child, affiliate marketing is a scam. I would have earned more at McDonalds. About $36,500 in 5 years working only for 2 hours per day at $10.
That would have been a good additional income.
Finally I accepted the truth. I agreed that only 4% affiliates ever make money online. First because of my situation and next this was coming from someone who had already made a cool 5 figure monthly income online.
We don't believe in anyone or anything where our own beliefs clash. But when someone shows their results. Then it is a completely different story. We may just calm down from our hyper reaction and think logically. Then we will find support through our own reasoning and logical thinking.
And my friend, with is 5 figure income, was not just in the 4% but he must be somewhere in the 1% of affiliates who have a 5 figure monthly income.
THE AFFILIATE MARKETERS TRIBE AND THEIR DREAMS
We belong to the same tribe. The Affiliate Marketers tribe. People join this tribe to make money. That is the single biggest goal of their life. Nothing else is more important.
We jumped into this with the dreams of becoming millionaires online. Even when we did not know where our next pay check was coming from.
We dream about making millions in sleep. And this dream has been fuelled by the wealthy affiliates in our tribe. They constantly share their results. They show us how they make money even when on vacation. That keeps our dreams alive.
We dream about those mansions for our families. The ones that these wealthy affiliate shoot their videos from. The one that they show in every photo they upload on the internet. The one that is large enough to house a family of 20 to 30 people in it.
We dream of that fast car. The ones that these wealthy affiliates flaunt. The one where the noise of the car is more than the spee of it. Those mean machines that would make any man or woman go weak in their knees.
This is the affiliate marketers tribe. And the wealthy affiliates have kept our hopes alive. By constantly sharing their story.
WHAT IS AN AFFILIATE MARKETERS REAL DREAM
Does that dream look real? No ! Absolutely not. At least not to me.
What I believe is that all of us can become millionaires and even billionaires. But it requires a discipline and patience to build a real business online.
We know it in the bottom of our hearts that the real dream we have is different from the Rich Life that all the wealthy affiliates show us.
Like in any other profession. There are successful people and super successful people. And everybody starts with the idea of becoming super successful. But everyone is successful in his own sense.
And our real dream is the later. To become successful in our own sense.
What we are looking for really is freedom from our 9 to 5 day job.
We want to stop working for pay check to pay check.
We need enough money that we can travel to places around the world without worrying much about money.
We just want a small but beautiful house of our own that we can call home without the burden of a mortgage.
What we really want is a 5 to 6 figure income. The one that our day job promised us. But could not give it to us. And if our day job gives us that income. Then it sucks the life out of every minute of our day. The successful people in jobs spend on average 10 to 12 hours working on their jobs.
In a day job, either we have time or money, but not both.
So we need two things really. One a good 5 to 6 figure income and two flexibility of time we spend on our job.
That is the real dream of an affiliate marketer. I like this dream better.
I want to become an affiliate marketer that has a 5 to 6 figure income online with enough time to spare for my family and vacation so that I can live a rich life.

Hey, I don't want you to lose hope. I was in the first level making zero dollars online for five years. Then my good friend helped me and I was able to make my first dollar online.
It was $250. Of which $100 came from Amazon and $150 came from clickbank. This was my first affiliate income online.
Since then I have systematically built my business around affiliate marketing. I have build unique websites focusing on different affiliate products. I have made some good money in the last two years since my first income online.
Enough to quit my job finally in Feb 2017. Now I work ful time building my affiliate business.
After becoming successful and understanding the tools and tactics required for success in affiliate marketing, I analysed both my failure and my success.
