Every single internet marketer today keeps himself really busy finding backlinks to his website.
Backlinks help to list and rank a website in a better position on a search engine, and is a key factor to increase google page rank.
However, marketers must also understand that most blogs and forums (easy target for backlinks) these days are 'NoFollow'. This means that your link from these sites do not carry any weight towards search engine rankings as the search robots are instructed not to follow these links. This was a code implemented by google to reduce spams on blogs and forums by greedy webmasters.
In order to improve your site ranking, you have to find a dofollow site. This will list and rank you in search engines namely google search.
