Changing Hosting accountants

I think I have some sort of tech curse on me. What should be a simple process always turns out to take 10 times longer than the average. I signed up for a new hosting service. The initial domain I transfered was done in seconds. When I tried to transfer a second one, which now cost me money, I have to jump through all sorts of hoops and it won't be done for 5 days. Yet the initial one was done almost before I could get to my e-mail. Plus I'm transferring files and was informed my info was incorrect and they were unable to access them. I checked, re-checked, called the host that I'm transferring the files from, they reconfirmed my settings. I resubmitted them and suddenly they worked!
I'm telling you for some reason the tech gods are pissed at me!
Or am I being paranoid?
Probably the latter.
