Bryan Kumar is Richard Branson...and Frank Kern

Someone told me this week that I was like Richard Branson and Frank Kern!

Him: Dude, you're like Richard Branson

Me: Oh really? Cool. I can live with that.

Him: Yeah. Or Frank Kern even.

Me: Oh yeah? Branson and Kern. Wow...thanks, dude!

Him: Yeah, yeah... your hair looks just like them. Except yours is black.

Me: Oh.......

Him: I guess you're like the Indian version of them! haha

Me: Yeah......... thanks.........


What's the marketing lesson here? There's none really. I just thought it was interesting...annoying...and hilarious. In that order.

Well, okay here's a lesson...

When someone (say a customer) shares something with you (a want, need, interest, etc.,) be sure to find out exactly what s/he means before assuming its what you'd like it to mean. lol

    Actually they were talkin to the person behind me at the bar..

    But the same applies.. I should have checked first who he really thought was Peter...
