By definition, social media is the concept of using the society interaction in general to provide some information. With the explosion of the internet and mobile technology social media marketing is trending the world of social media.

Historical and classical media like newspapers and radio are loosing the track against this new trend of communication and advertising. Companies, brands, governments are starting to realize how important it it to have a step into the social media world. Although social media is a tremendous tool when it comes to transmitting information, there is a threat that people are more and more using it what we would call the wrong way. What we are about now is that marketing is widely using social media to sell and the power and use of this social media is being overused and even overflowed by marketing efforts of companies and every marketer. While we must admit that this is useful in some extent, we must also realize that is became very difficult to find useful information on major social media sites like twitter or facebook because event if theis same useful information exist, it is diffcult to find track ad filter it.

Social media ethics should really become more present in the habits when designing selling and comunication startegies.

We can indeed use social media make money like some good example here . But we should care about keeping or giving social media its first definition which is to transmit (useful) information

Some simple guidelines to keep the media clean with ethics can be : No automating posting, not spam(in all meaning of this word), no aggressive following or churning, follow the terms of service of social media providers.
