Build Your Empire On A Budget

One of the things I enjoy most about having my own home business is advertising. I mainly use banner’s, some articles, and of course google adwords.
There are unlimited possibilities when it comes to advertising. When I am trying to develop a new campaign I feel like I am in a war room deciding how to win a war. People with a lot of capital can run a pretty extensive google campaign.
I have found that google is by far the easiest place for me to get leads. Hands down.
However, these leads are going to cost you money. I have products that make google advertising worth while.
What I really wanted to talk about was what can people do and still be successful when they are on a tight budget. Keep in mind, what you cannot throw money at you must spend time. Here are a few tools I found that are free ways of advertising...
1. Craigslist: The rules have changed. Before you could post to many cities as long as you changed the ad for each new city. Now however, you are limited to three cities and you must wait 7 days before you can post again.
2. Backpage.com: This site is like craigslist but you can post the same ad to as many cities as you want. You can also run the same ad.
Craigslist works better for me. I can consistently find people who saw my ad and decided to visit my website. Backpage is really hit or miss for me.
3. YouTube: This is a great place to get your message out. Just in case you didn’t know most people watching youtube are in their 30's, have families, and make $80,000 a year. There is a site out there that will promote your video. They offer channel views, they rate your video’s and leave comments. If you are having a problem being seen on YouTube you may want to use this service to be "put on the map".
I am not going to post the website here. If you are interested in the website contact me (chadmarano{at}gmail.com).
4. Free articles and press releases. There are many sites out there providing you this free service. Goarticles.com, Free-Press-Release, and probably the best is articlesnatch. I have had good success using free-press-release but I just recently started to use articlesnatch. I will keep you updated on this service.
5. Blog: The key with using blogs is having valuable information for the reader. I really want them to find good value. I never try to "trick" them with sexy headlines that provide no substance. The last thing I’ll say about blogs is that 80% of your post should be just for the reader. Give them valuable information. The last 20% is for your call to action.
I have a "thing" for the underdogs. I love watching people use their creativity to beat those who just throw money at the advertising beast. I always rooted for the underdog in movies and I carried that over to my business.
So if you are trying to get your business some serious attention try these 5 sources. It will cost you time and dedication. Just take action and start doing it. You will get better at getting your message out with time. If you never start then you will never see improvement.
I have noticed that a lot of people putting information out (especially to people thinking about starting a home business or are new starting a home business) treat people like idiots when they have a question. They make it sound like the reader should have already known.
I am not like that. Remember, if you are working on a budget I am on your side. You can always post questions or you can email me your questions at chadmarano{at}gmail.com.
Good Luck...
I know you can be successful because I used all these tools when I started to grow my home business.

Thanks a great deal for you free valuable information. It's easy for most people to forget that they all started from the scratch and the ancient Rome was not built in a day. I once rebuke a colleague who was upset that a starter was asking her a trivial questionPosted 08-07-2009 at 12:08 AM by abiolasola
