Find Great Domain Names with These Two Tools

We all have those moments when we just can’t find the right domain name. Then, you finally think of one - only to find out that it’s already taken.

Here are two tools that we love to use to come up with a great domain name:

1) Bust A Name

Bust A Name is my favorite domain name tool. The service allows you to type in words that are relevant to your search, then presents all of the available combinations that are available to be registered. You can sort the results by length, by readability, by syllables, or alphabetically.

You can also ask it to return only cetain TLD’s (like .com only), add hyphens, or drop the last vowel (ie: Flickr).

You can even have it place a prefix or suffix before or after the words in your search (ie: iTwitterBlog, eTwitterBlog, TwitterBlogster, etc).

2) Domize

Domize is another great domain name tool. It’s an very simple service. Simply start typing in any word or phrase. The system then comes up with domains based on that name or shorter versions. It will then show you whether or not those suggestions are available on popular TLD’s (.com, .net. org, .biz, .info, and .us).
