Worldwide iPhone WiFi Ad Requests Increase by 52%

Worldwide iPhone WiFi ad requests grew 52% month-over-month to 359 million in November, giving the iPhone 6.3% share of global total requests and 9.9% share of requests in the US, where it is now the #1 device, according to research from AdMob (via MarketingCharts), whom we discussed here back in November.

Google Friend Connect = FriendSense?

It looks as though Google is planning to monetize Google Friend Connect.

Insiders at Google are jokingly calling it “FriendSense”.

Like Adsense, Google plans to use Friend Connect as a framework to insert advertising onto third party websites.

Friend Connect was first confirmed in May 2008. Earlier this month it opened to all comers.
