Confused? Well no great surprise as both statements can be true at the same time!

There are many technical differences between both types of business but the most important thing to realise is that both an online and an offline business is a BUSINESS!

Making money on the internet is not some kind of short cut to retirement instead of winning the lottery ;¬) You need to research your market, make sure you have the right product for your market and learn how to present that product in the most professional and effective manner possible.

Learning how to market online is the same as learning anything. First you need to research, talk to others in the same position as where you want to be. Join forums, for example, Warrior Forum is a really good place to pick up information.

There is much that can be gleaned from free eBooks such as Harvey Segal's Ultimate Supertip. This is an excellent source of free information that will greatly assist in the setting up of your online business.

Don't try to run before you can walk but start in the right direction and keep moving towards your goal everyday.

Good luck in your endeavours.
