Local Internet Marketing Starts With

Local Internet Marketing usually starts with a merchant searching for an online marketing Internet company. The brick and mortars aren't really sure what they're looking for when they start searching for ways to use the Internet to make more money for their business. It occurred to me that whenever I mention to anyone that I am an Internet Marketer, the responses are generally one of the following three:
1.) So, you like, sell stuff on ebay?
2.) Oh, so you scam people out of money on the Internet?
3.) So you SPAM people?
Usually, I get the ebay question first, unless of course I'm talking to a complete moron. This has led me to question how I could possibly use ebay to create another approach to local business owners. I'll report on my findings on Becky's Local Internet Marketing blog.
