Okay, I’ll admit that I’ve hated on affiliate links too. Heck I probably still do it from time to time without even thinking about it. It’s like second nature. But why do we do it? I mean why is it so horrible that someone that we don’t know gets a commission for telling us about a product or service that fulfills our needs?

What's the point?

I could write the most amazing piece of content ever right here but who would see it? I think that's the hard part about this internet stuff. The old adage "content is KING" is definitely partially true. Content is important and can be used in a multitude of ways. The problem for me is getting the eyeballs. If your content isn't AMAZING or SUPERB or HILARIOUS or SCANDALOUS it won't be at the top of DIGG.
