Site No. 8--a blog for traffic

So it has been a while but I continue to post about my experiences with putting up sites. This is because it gives me something to look back on about my growth (or lack thereof) as I develop my "way" of building and setting up websites to make money with. Site number 8 is one that I built to drive traffic to a "brick and mortar" business. I'm sure that the owner was not originally impressed with my idea, but as I was able to explain it and simplify the process to them, they seemed at least willing to try. I found a domain name, put it on my hosting plan, and began posting articles to the site within a few days time. I then began to focus on getting traffic to the site so that I could then drive traffic to the business owner's site. You might ask why didn't I just take on the gig of trying to convince the owner to let me build a site for them that they could maintain and get their own traffic to? The main reason is that business owners do not build great sites, that is not their bread and butter but it is mine. I would rather drive traffic to their contact info from my site and let them pay me for the business generated while I build my skill in traffic generation . . . that may not seem like a plan but it is mine for now.
