How to use twitter for small business

[FONT=Arial]If you have a small business you will soon see that Twitter is ideally suited towards it, no matter what your small business is.

You should first open a Twitter account in a name that closely matches your business name or as near to it as possible.

You should then get a new template for your Twitter account which really serves two purposes. Firstly it will make your account stand apart from the crowd and it also enables you to get the Twitter template designed around the niche you are operating in, with your business name subtly incorporated if possible.

You then need to get followers who may have an interest in your business and the easiest way to this is to search in your niche for people who may be interested in what ever your business deals in.

It is then a case of simply following them and there is a good chance that they will then follow you back. You should then think of joining in with the conversations and offer help and advice. Every now again drop a Tweet in about your business, and I mean every now and again, not every other Tweet, and you will soon find that people will be interested in whatever you have to offer.

If you come across as a helpful individual you will soon find that people will take more of an interest of whatever you have to say.

They are just the first steps on how to use twitter for small business.
