Thank you for returning to our Internet Marketing Blog. To be the first to hear about updates please subscribe.
This is an important question for many people these days because they simply can not find their Blog on Google and the traffic results can be very low. There is this large proportion of new Blog owners that simply think that all they have to do is put a great Blog together and then people will come.
It is simply not that simple – yes you will get a small trickle of people but you need to have your own Blog traffic plan in place to build it from depending on the level of Bloggers that you want visiting you. You can even have your Blog traffic coming from one single source at the beginning if you don’t have the time to put into your traffic building.
This Blog was originally created from Twitter traffic and it gave it a great stepping stone into the traffic building world. I tweeted about new posts and my favourite old ones and this brought in 300 hits a day and I still get this amount of traffic just from Twitter even now.
You need to find yourself a niche on the internet that you can use to start your traffic generation for example for food Blogs the favourite choice is Digg.
If Twitter hadn’t been big at the time when I joined internet marketing I would have made sure that all my traffic came from forum posting as this can bring in the same results from an hour a day.
When we start out with our online business most of us have no money to put into the business and only have an hour a day spare to generate traffic this is why using one site is a great option for you.
Then as your business grows you can implement lots of other traffic generation methods one at a time and then it won’t feel alien to you as you have done it a bit at a time. When I am mentoring people online I discover that most people are struggling because they are trying to run before they can walk. They want to do too much too soon and reach burn out. By doing it at a great pace you can achieve the results without been exhausted.
Plus if you find yourself one method that brings you in great traffic many of these readers will become regulars bringing to to new levels very quickly.
So start building the traffic levels and then you will no longer be wondering where your blog is or why people aren’t reading it.
