It is this simple:
Get No Traffic = Make NO Money.
You NEED traffic to be a success online. There is no traffic tap you can simply turn on and the traffic comes. If there was – there would be lots of people making great cash online, but unfortunately, only a small portion of people are making significant money.
If you are struggling to make money online, frustrated and ready to quit – read this.
Set up a small website. Ad some Adsense to is and then drive traffic to it. Spend 90% of your time driving traffic to it.
Don’t keep wasting too much time fiddling with the layout and the structure – just spend time getting traffic.
Wait until you have this one site working for you before you start another project. This may take a few months. If you start another project, you will get distracted and then go backwards quickly.
So, you have set up a basic website and are ready to drive traffic.
How exactly do you drive traffic?
Here are 3 things you can do straight away and get a few hits instantly.
1. Submit the site to Stumbleupon and Digg. You should get some hits immediately.
2. Post some comments on other people’s blogs where there are lots of other coments posted. Write good comments – not rubbish. This is important as you need to attrcache attention.
3. Write a few articles and submit them to article directories.
4. Put a link to your site in your signature on the forums that you participate in.
Do these things, and within a week you will be receiving traffic.
Remember – target the places where people hagn out that are interested in your niche.
