Looking for some hints on website traffic? There are plenty of methods you can try to get website traffic. The problem is, there are hundreds. Which ones actually work and more importantly, which ones actually work for the long term?
Here are a couple of hints that you can use to get more website traffic.
Hint Number 1:
Target keywords for the page you are building. For example, if you are targeting ‘red fast cars’, use these keywords in the title of the page, the first paragraph and then throughout the document without going overboard.
It is essential that these keywords are in the title of the page. So, using the example above, you would name your page http://yourwebsite/cars/fast-cars/red-fast-cars.html
You can see the name of the page is 'red-fast-cars.html' and the page is located in the ‘cars’ section of your website and then in the 'fast-cars' sub-section of your website.
Correctly configuring your website in organized sections will make it easy for the search engines to decipher your website and help with recognizing a theme of each section of your website.
Hint Number 2:
If you are targeting the keywords mentioned above, ‘red fast cars’, you need to also create anchor text for this phrase within the page you are creating. You should link this anchor text to another page within your website that is about ‘red fast cars’ or a highly relevant externally website that is about ‘red fast cars’.
Of course, you would be giving the external page some 'link juice' so choose wisely.
Building your site accurately and carefully instead of rushing it and just whacking something up will ensure that in the long term your site receives good strong rankings and in turn this will bring organic traffic which is one of the best types of traffic you can get.
