The FTC Act, Guidelines and stuff…

From the “FTC Act” aka 15 U.S.C. § 45 aka Section 5:

“The Commission is hereby empowered and directed to prevent persons, partnerships, or corporations from using unfair methods of competition in or affecting commerce and unfair or deceptive acts or practices in or affecting commerce.”

Okay, so that’s what is said, in the unofficial version of the FTC Act that I read, downloaded from the ftc.gov website and have edited out the part about banks...
