How Did You Deal With Your Inner Fear When You Started IM?

I'm curious to know how did you deal with your inner fear when you first started in internet marketing.
Were you equally overwhelmed by the information?
You probably had some financial constraints that you had to overcome as well, how did you manage that?
How did you overcome that fear?
Was it an on-going process which you had to train your mind?
Did you have doubts at one point? Did you give up for a moment and thought this won't work for you?
Who told you to be persistent. Did you push yourself? Or did someone else help you pursue your goals?
Did you have a mentor?
What would your best advice be in two to three sentences for anyone who is just starting out.
