My Newest Affiliate

Yesterday I received an email from a potential affiliate that was having problems signing up. I sent a reply with quick instructions. He responded with this note "please tell me you are genuine .... the iinternet is full of people collecting emails for mass mailouts"
Something told me to give this person my phone number so we could chat on the phone. I called him and we wound up talking for over an hour. This man has several sites, blogs and a couple of forums hurtrelationship.com hurtpartner.com . He's brilliant at building web sites, he's motivated and an extremely hard worker.
I think he's done more work promoting his affiliate link in the past 24 hours than my top 20 affiliates have done all year.
His weakness has been link building and that's one of my strengths so I'm able to teach him what I know about link building, article writing and blog posts to get him the back links hhe needs to bring up his SERP.
I'm learning something from this. To take the time to have more of a personal relationship with my affiliates. Try to learn about their needs and weakneses and help them build their sites and grow because in the end it will pay off big for my affiliate program.
