Very often as IMers we'll get business proposals via email. Some times there will be elaborate signature file with name address and phone number along with links to web sites etc.
But sometimes it's anonymous, maybe a pen name maybe just a nick name.
Before replying we should run the name through a google search to see what turns up. Another useful tool is free online reverse email search engines.
But still many times when trying to get a name from an email we'll hit a dead end. Also how do we know the name provided in the signature line is their real name and not a pen name.
