Drunken Business Ramblings

Having been out at a friend's 21st birthday party last night, I was among many old friends again, one of which was my new "offline" business partner.
He was drunk, I was not and the talk turned to business really quickly. It was a bit of a "lay your cards on the table" job. A full and frank discussion about each other, life and the business. To be honest, it was worth driving the 80 miles there and back for that conversation alone. It set my mind at rest in a way.
It makes me wonder whether drinking with your business partner is a good idea some times. A lot of truth is spoken, and it usually turns out all good in the end. Maybe I'll make that a policy of my future online business partners to have a drink together on a night out. I mean, that drunk interview frank Kern had with Eban Pagan seemed to work out okay didn't it?
