Hot Trends at MSN - Microsoft is Gaining Googles Marketshare

I have said it before, but Microsofts new service found at now.msn.com is another example of how they are pushing hard for gaining market share. The new service is a updated version of trends. It scrapes breaking news and facebook, bing and twitter and displays all the hottest trends in the now.
Combine this with the new "relationship" between FB and Bing and it seems Microsoft is fighting back against the big G. The new operating system windows 8 also has some very cool features and updated icons and navigation. This is going to be a big year for Microsoft and as IM people we need to see the signs and start planning on how to leverage this to our advantage. Bing is going to see increased search traffic because of its integration with Facebook. The new operating system is very "tablet and mobile oriented". The new trends site now.msn.com blows Google Trends out of the Water.
That is my take on it anyway.
