Twitter Without Twitter Grader Is Twouble

Posted 05-27-2009 at 08:24 PM by FindItFreeLive

Okay. You finally did it.

Everyone's been talking about Twitter and you finally bit the big one by signing up for a free account.

Yippey, you say. Victory! You are now part of the Twitterific world.

It's at this point that you begin to blankly stare at your monitor with only one question on your mind.

NOW WHAT?

Twitter by itself can seem little better than a tooth ache without a dentist. Just like medical professionals successful Internet Marketers need their tools too. This applies to those smart people who have taken the step to sign-up for a Twitter account. Yeah, that's you.

To that end we will start talking aobut Twitter tools to make your success well - successful.

Let's look at Twitter Grader today.

What Twitter Grader does do is give you a good idea of how you measure up in the world.

What Twitter Grader does not do is measure the amount of good contacts you will receive. That's up to you and your style of tweeting.

There are many different ways to find out how you measure up.

First, you could enter your user name on the home screen? Where you ask? I'll take a lucky guess but likely in the box just below where it says "Enter Your Twitter User Name." If you do so you will find out exactly how many people are following you and how many people you are following. You will also find out where you rank out of over 2 million twitter users. At the moment, my BodyByChocolate account is in the 1000 range and climbing.

There are other things to check out on that first home page. Explore! Enjoy! And twitter away.

Of course, you might want to know who is using Twitter in your local area. To find this information out select the option that says "Twitter Elite" - type in your location (aka Spokane) - and hit search. Viola. Your local area tweeters from most popular on Twitter on down the line. There are other "Twitter Elite" options to be had, but I'm focusing on the part of Twitter Grader that I use to build my BodyByChocolate profile.

The other area of Twitter Grader that I find to be very important is the "Search" tab. Here you can look-up all the keywords that people are using to promote themselves. The keywords are taken from various parts of each individuals Twitter account with special emphasis on the 140 character Twitter Bio. Therefore, putting something like "Hi, my name is Guy & I live in Spokane with my wife and we love chocolate" isn't very effective.

You need to target your bio with keyword rich content that tells people about you like I did on my BodyByChocolate bio. When you do so tools like Twitter Grader are able to rank you according to the keyword rich information you have provided in your Twitter Bio. The end result is that when people use Twitter Grader to search for subject areas (aka lovers) they find your information especially if you have done the things necessary to climb the ranks of Twitterhood to success.

Knowing those 3 things about Twitter Grader
* How to search for your own info.
* How to search for area info
* How to search for specific info
Will help you reach the Twitter success you are seeking

Here's to your success.
No need to use the force when all you need is Twitter.
