Hello once again my fellow wannabe richers!

I'm sorry about my absence from the blog, but I've had a few personal issues (2 good friends died in a 4 day period) that have had my head really messed up. You to are going to have your own issues; maybe not as extreme, but life goes on and bills still have to be paid.

I just got back to work on my new site this week and have been focused on getting the home page ready to inform visitors and get them to click through to revenue producing areas.

I believe that most surfers and shoppers alike are looking for information to solve a particular problem, want, or need in their lives. Even those looking to make an immediate purchase want a little assurance that they are doing the right thing.

1.With that in mind I've taken the information I gathered (see my last blog) and have summarized the best parts and have attempted to fine tune it for my chosen niche'. Only sales will tell.

2.I've also chosen a color scheme and fonts which will be used through out the site. I feel this type of site wide conformity is important and translates well to any offsite marketing.

3.I added Google Adsense to the page. A lot of the gurus I've researched say this is a mistake as it takes potential customers away from your page, but I personally feel that every cent helps.

4.I added Facebook and Google Plus "like" plugins. From a purely marketing standpoint I'm going to use every avenue I can (within reason) find to promote my site and "social" is the hot new way to go.

5.I also included an RSS feed, but may take it off as it seems to clutter the page.

6.I linked my Godaddy web address to my Weebly site. Weebly gives you a fee domain name, but having your own looks more professional and building trust is paramount to making sales in the crowded eworld.
