Gil-Ad is naive and silly

Posted 10-01-2009 at 05:13 AM by ghyphena

I post again, having upgraded my WF membership. I am now officially a War Room Member, and consequently Very Successful And Worthy Of Respect. Ka-ching.

I don't want to admit this, but the only real reason I joined the War Room is so I could sit back and wait until two people get into an argument. Then I will jump in with the words:

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here..."

Anyway, onwards to the subject of today's post: me being naive and rather silly. I am referring, of course, to my rant about IM is full of biz-oppers, and how it's almost impossible to find any serious information on subscriber lists.

Naive. Silly. I'd take it all back and delete the offending post if it were not for two factors worthy of consideration:

1) I would prefer to keep the original train of thought alive so that those even more naive and silly that me could benefit from my newfound wisdom

and, more importantly,

2) Deleting a post would reduce my blog post count, making me slightly less Worthy Of Respect. Can't have that.

So, why is naive and silly of me to be annoyed that IM is full of biz-oppers?

Because IM is full of biz-oppers. And, instead of being an intelligent capitalist, as is my habit, I act like some scorned child and throw a hissy-fit about it. Not cool. Not cool at all.

Instead, my new plan is to grow up, stop trying to make the world conform to my preconceived views, and start to make the mountain of biz-op seekers work in my favour.

And anyone who shared the feelings voiced in my original rant should do the same. Or at least get over themselves, as I have.

To this end, I am putting together a non-internet-specific biz-op product sourced from material of the highest caliber. Should be ready within a few weeks for review. Stay tuned*.

* Rest assured the irony of me saying "stay tuned", as though my daily blog readers number in the five figures, is not entirely lost on me. Just saying.
