Hello,
While reviewing your account, we found that you are using transitional page advertisements to send traffic to the Amazon site. The Associates Program Operating Agreement prohibits Associates from using this method of advertisement. You can review the complete terms of the Operating Agreement, including Participation Requirements, by following this link:
https://affiliate-program.amazon.com...ates/agreement
Because of these violations, your Associates account has been closed and payment of all advertising fees withheld. You must remove the Amazon site and all Amazon content from all transitional page advertisements or other sites immediately. Any other accounts you may have or may open in the future which are found in violation of the Operating Agreement terms may be closed and advertising fees withheld without notification.
Thank you for your interest in the Associates Program.
Best regards,
xx - Associates Account Specialist
I have used a traffic broker and a budurl to redirect prospects to the Amazon product page ... Apparently this is not allowed - The advertiser wrote me :
Hi Walter,
Thanks for your email. That is disturbing news.
I’ve just been going over the agreement in their link.
“Redirecting Link” means a link that sends users indirectly to the Amazon Site via an intermediate site or webpage and without requiring the user to click on a link or take some other affirmative action on that intermediate site or webpage.
I presume this is the term that they feel has been violated, it’s pretty vague though. It doesn’t mention transitional page advertising which I guess is there term for Interstitial advertising.
I’m going to put a warning up on the forum and see what feedback we get but at the end of the day, if Amazon do not wish to payout there is not a lot that can be done.
Kind Regards,
So read your agreement carefully to avoid being banned.
