Free Traffic Through Product Reviews
I hope you appreciate the tips in this Free Traffic Through Product Reviews Warrior Forum post. This post is the fifth in the line-up that I am posting here to highlight some of the top ways to get free website traffic.
Experienced marketers know that writing product reviews can be an excellent way to get more website traffic and sales.
Savvy consumers are becoming more adept at searching for product reviews before making a purchase decision. If you have what they are looking for and you can get them to your website, you have a good chance of making a sale.
In order to write an effective review, you should be familiar with the product or service. Obviously, it is best if you have purchased the product and used it yourself. As an option to making a purchase, you might try contacting the product owner to ask for a free copy for promotional purposes. Alternatively, you can research the product extensively through search engine searches.
Once the review has been written, post it on your blog and optimize it for the keyword, “Review of Product xyz” or “Product xyz Review” where “xyz” is the name of the product.
Once the post has been properly optimized (keywords in the title, a few times throughout the post and in the TITLE tag, meta description and alt text of any images within the post), you can then build some links to the review page with the keyword phrase in the anchor text of the links.
As with any blog post, if you build enough links to your product review page, it should appear high in the search engine rankings, increasing the free traffic to your website and potentially creating some sales.
