How Did You Start Your Home Based Internet Business?
It is always interesting to hear how other home based Internet business marketers started their businesses. Everybody has a story; everybody has a reason, or a special purpose or some particular motivation for starting their business.
Me? I’ve been involved in one form of home business marketing or another for many decades. My first experiences were with mail order marketing, back in the ‘70s and ‘80s (and into the ‘90s).
I first connected to the Internet in the mid-90s, mostly for email communication purposes because of the Network Marketing company I was promoting at that time.
In 2007 I became interested in Internet Marketing after doing some research for online writing opportunities. I got involved with an Affiliate Marketing program and launched my first active website. It was through that opportunity that I was originally introduced to the Warrior Forum!
That is HOW I started my home based Internet business. Here is the reason WHY I started this business.
Marketing and promotion has always been “in my blood” and I’ve always been interested in developing my writing abilities. I have always dreamed of selling things and making money in the process (hence, my early beginnings in mail order).
Once the Internet was introduced and the technology improved so non-technical people like me could take advantage of it, I could immediately see the marketing and sales potential. I wasn’t the only one! lol
Once I started getting my feet wet in the online marketing business, the first thing I learned was, the more you learn, the more there is to learn! Like so many others, I became weighed down by information overload!
Eventually, due to dedication, determination and a commitment to my goals, it all started making sense to me as the patterns of marketing began to take shape. There is a process to follow and if you learn from others, apply what you learn and work to continually improve your skills and techniques as you go along, you will see progress towards your goals.

I am not yet anywhere near my personal income goals from my home based Internet business, but month by month I am seeing improvement. The Internet is always changing and the age old challenges of marketing and sales still apply, but the potential is incredible and marketers who stand out will dominate!
