Web Biz marketing is like any other form of business. It takes effort, focus and determination.

The only home based Internet marketers who are truly making money online are those who stick with an idea, learn everything they can about it, apply everything they learn, then stay focused until it is pulling in the dough.

If you don’t give it everything you’ve got and stick with it until it starts to pay, you’re just wasting your time and your money. If you feel motivated to “cut your losses” and quit, chances are you haven’t been doing the right things, or you haven’t been doing them long enough.

Here are two examples using my experiences with blogging and with keyword testing.

It took me just about a full year of steady blogging about tested web biz opportunities before my Web Bizz Blog got indexed by Google. I am sure there were things I could have done to speed up the indexing process, but all I was focusing on at that time was posting new content to my blog every few days or so.

I was about to give up on ever seeing my blog indexed. I was convinced there was something wrong with my blog format that was preventing it from getting indexed. I was already thinking about leaving this web biz blog and starting a new one with a different format.

Then one day I noticed it had finally been indexed! Yippee! Now, when I apply SEO (search engine optimization) effectively, some of my Web Bizz Blog posts are turning up on the first page of the SERPs (search engine results pages). Ain’t tested web biz marketing methods grand?

Keywords are another story. It seemed to take forever before I started seeing my StarrBizz.com homepage, inner pages and blog pages turn up on the first pages of the search engine results. Still, I kept working at the various SEO techniques I have been learning from my home biz marketing mentors.

I could have quit at any time. I could have walked away from my investment of time and money, frustrated and discouraged. But I didn’t. I kept the faith and kept plugging along. And then, the results began to materialize and my commitment and determination were rewarded.

The real secret to my success is researching and finding a few tested web biz opportunities, learning from online business marketers with experience, and sticking with what they recommend until results begin to show. You can choose to chase rainbows, or you can focus on your chosen web biz opportunity and make it work.
