Shouldn't You Be Running A Mama Mia Business?

Posted 02-24-2009 at 12:25 PM by James12C

Just a quick thought. (Published on my main blog before Christmas 2008)

The DVD of the movie MAMA MIA was released in the UK this weekend. Sales have already broken records - on top of the box office receipts worldwide.

So- what's the secret?

And - what lesson can we learn from MAMA MIA that will help our web businesses?

Well, for me, MAMA MIA is a terrific "feel good" movie. You just can't help it.

And I believe that a key component of web success (or, ANY business for that matter) is the Feel Good Factor.

I want my customers to feel good about every single moment of interaction they have from my websites, from sign up to download, from purchase to information enquiry.

If the process is straightforward, efficient, personal, high quality - in other words "shining" - the customer will feel good. And he or she will be a customer for life!

In business school speak, of course, all this is known as 'Customer Care".

Personally, I prefer the Feel Good Factor.

My best to you - Mama Mia!!!
