Evergreen Significance

I once thought that Evergreen Significance had an appeal to it. It's kind of like riding a bike... you never forget. When it comes to evergreen products, I'm not seeing that many people ever think that far out.
I've been online since the 1990's. My first computer had 256megs of ram and that was top of the line then. I've seen hundreds of online, get rich products come and go over the years. I know of only a few that are still around today.
So my question to many of you reading this.... Why do people continue to buy a "shiny object" as they are so affectionately named today?
It continues to amaze me.
As for me I'm still doing the ole tried and tested product that has been around before the internet. Yes there are products that have been in the market place before AOL and dial up services.
I supposed this could be considered more of a venting sessions than an advertisement or even a blog post.
