Up and running

Ok so I have been working hard all week to get my site to a stage where I can start driving some traffic to it.

I have 20 review articles up and 3 x 2000 word how to articles. I used a terms and condition generator to provide those pages for me and put together a contact page.


In my opinion the site looks pretty good but id love to know what you guys think.

I know a lot of people teaching this stuff do not like to give away their sites, but I don't have a problem with it.

So lets get down to the numbers so far!

Spent to get this program off the ground.

Jan Roots Course: $495

Domain $5
Hosting $0 - already have it
Theme $59
Opting Revolution $97

20 x review articles $15 each (Total $300)
3 x 2000 word how to articles $130 each ($390)
5 x images $40

Some of you maybe wondering why my articles cost so much. I believe in quality and I am willing to pay for it. $5 article that is unreadable is worth $0 to me.

So my total spend to get this project off the ground is
$1,386

I have put a further $600 in my bing ads account but don't expect that to be spent by the end of next month.


As you can see a good amount of money has been spent getting this off the ground. But in my eyes even if this project only makes $500 a year for the next 10 years, I will be very happy with the investment!


I have set up a basic bing campaign so I will be seeing over the next week how that performs and adjusting it accordingly.

Just to give you an idea about Jan Roos Course. I have all this setup and started driving traffic to my site and I am only half way through his course.


Hopefully you guys stick with me over the coming weeks to see if we can make a profitable site.
