Print Ads Still Work
Posted 06-03-2011 at 11:14 PM by Jeremy Barker
I will admit that print advertisements are thought of as a thing of the past when you think of the internet and all that is available to everyone accessing the internet. Especially for businesses that have a global outreach, the internet is the fastest growing advertising method ever in our history.
But I believe that print advertisements still work when advertising for your business. Should you look at your market? Sure! Should you choose the best advertising method for you? Yes Again!! Is print advertising for you? That is strictly your decision!!
Here are a few tips to print advertising:
1) Don’t clutter your ad. Keep it clean and simple.
2) Include more than words! Put a picture or a logo that jumps off of the page to the reader.
3) Focus. Make sure you focus on one topic or idea ONLY.
4) Tell your audience in a few words how they can benefit in your ad
5) If possible, put the ad in color or part color.
6) Make sure your headline can catch attention.
Print ads still work. The internet is great but don’t forget what works for you.
