The WSO is a great place to make sales.

If you're planning on launching your first product, or if you're launching your 10th product, here's some ideas that will make the light bulbs go off in your head.

When you sell on the Warrior Forum, you can use regular Paypal buttons or WSO Pro. But for those of you with more adventurous spirits, it's not the only way to sell.

The easiest, cheapest and most SECURED way to deliver products and place them on a list (for complete beginners) is the following method:

  • Buy one domain that will represent your own shopping cart. I bought shopkartpro.com. You can probably get something like marketkartpro.com or something. This will be YOUR OWN shopping cart.
  • Invest in DLGuard. $147 one time. It's the BEST shopping cart out there and Sam (the owner) will help you with anything.
  • Invest in GetResponse or Aweber for your list (if you haven't already).

DLGuard will let you sell products via Paypal or Clickbank and will automatically add buyers to your list. Well...not really "automatically". It will add them to your list but they'll receive a "confirmation email" automatically which will ask them to click a link to receive further emails from you.

This is as hands off as it gets. This is how I started with Wordpress PPC and PHP Link Cloaker.

BUT

I would not do this again. Why? Because they only see your download page and maybe a bonus offer thrown on the download page once. You only get one shot at the impulse purchase and it's gone.

These days, I'm using a Wordpress Membership plugin that adds customers to my list and delivers products inside a "one-time-payment, lifetime membership" area. I sell through Clickbank for Affiliate management (costs more but makes tax-time easy). The membership plugin even shows one-time offers to increase backend revenue.

Why am I doing this? Because I can change the "offer" they see when they login to the members area for support, comments, or redownloads. I can also offer an upgrade when initially selling. For example...upgrade MRR to PLR rights for $27 more.

See where I'm going here?
Create a place (membership or customer area) where they have to login to get the download. They can login whenever they like. You can put highly targetted ads on the sidebar, on the download page...ANYWHERE!. This is the way to go.

Then, simply email past customers an "update" and tell them to login for details.

Boom...more offers in front of your customer's eyes. Meanwhile, they feel it's a greater value since it's hidden within locked member doors (and very well should be!)

Good luck!
