Flip Websites For Gas Money!
Posted 08-07-2008 at 10:55 PM by JustinBrooke
Hey guys this is Justin Brooke from SiteFlipAcademy.com and I just thought of something pretty cool.
Now I know most guys out there talk about making millions of dollars but to some people that seems intimidating and unrealistic. So what I'm talking about is how to flip websites to pay for gas each week.
This is something my wife and I have done many times, we've taught our neighbors, and even some of our family members (the ones who wanted to learn). The fist step to flip a website fr gas money is to build a website.
This doesn't have to be scary...
We use Weebly.com to build our sites because all you have to do is drag and drop the different objects you want and then start typing. Like a paragraph, or a title, or an image. Weebly is super easy to use I suggest you try it.
So what we do is we build a small 4 page site using weebly. Those 4 pages are a home page, books page, products page, and video page. On any topic you can think of like Golf, Wrestling, Hannah Montana, Superman - Whatever
We use Amazon.com's affiliate program to fill our books page with advertisements for related books, the same for the products page too. For the videos page we just fill it with related videos that we find on sites like YouTube, Metacafe, or Google Video.
The home page is basically an introduction or overview of the topic you are covering. Once you have the website done it's time to flip the website.
So you go over to SitePoint.com/marketplace (the best place to flip websites) and create a website for sale listing in the startup sites section. We recommend setting your minimum bid to $1 for the most amount of eyeballs to your listing. And set your price point to $50 - Site should sell within a few hours to a couple days.
I know that's not a lot but this is just something thats spose to take 2-3 hours and pay for your gas all week. As I said we have done this many times and everyone we teach hasn't had a problem either. If you need help you can find us over at SiteFlipAcademy.com
It literally is that easy to flip websites for gas money

Hello Justin,
That's great advice thankyou. I was thinking of using Serif Webplus along with a template to set up my first site and perhaps write a few articles related to the products to get some traffic started. However I had not thought of the site organization that you ilustrate. I 'll try this out.
